This module is the core of BlueProjectHero. All activities (tasks) are scheduled here and costs and / or resources allocated. The view can be switched between table, bar graph, table and bar, costs, and resources. Here is the control center of your project for the planning and control of the activities. For each task, Plan / Is and Actual values are distinguished, depending on the project status.
All activities are planned in the task list by setting start and end date and duration in days. Resources are planned in number of person days, costs are planned while splitting personnel, material, service and other costs. In addition, there are many other parameters such as progress, PSP code, responsibilities, comments, predecessor activities, etc.
The bar graph (Gantt chart) visualizes the scheduling of the tasks and can be changed with a mouse click (drag & drop). In addition, information is displayed as a text box when you move the mouse over a bar.
The toolbar provides countless tools to control the project. Insert, delete and move a task, timeline settings of the bar chart, critical path, automatic / manual planning, basic plan, schedule / load / PERT / network diagrams, data export, etc.
The bar graph shows the duration of tasks and summary tasks as well as milestones. In addition, the base plan can be displayed as a reference to the actual plan. Predecessor / successor relationships can also be visualized (start / end, end / end, start / start, end / start). The time axis can be displayed in days / weeks / months.
Cost planning allows splitting costs in personnel, service, material and other costs. All this can be planned and controlled in the project execution phase (project controlling). Costs of individual tasks are automatically summed up to the next higher level (hierarchy – summary process).
Resource planning integrates the staff effort of the respective project roles – project manager, project sponsor, project team members and project members etc. – in person days. The effort is automatically transferred to the personnel costs section using the given cost rates of each project role (cost per day per person).
